How do you approach reversed tarot cards?

Updated: Feb 20, 2021

I like to use reversals in readings. I think they add depth and allow me to understand what is influencing the situation better. I don't think you have to read with them, tarot is highly personal so I think you should do what feels right to you. But I like to.

How I currently see reversals are energy receding from the situation. For example, I recently pulled the reversed chariot in the outcome position of my spread. The charioteer holds no reigns, he controls the sphinxes through his great strength of will. This takes a lot of effort and concentration. So I took this to mean that if I take the advise of the rest of the spread then things will begin to flow more easily in my life. I will no longer have to work so hard to make things happen.

I am still learning and would love to hear other approaches. I'm always open to learn more!

Peace out.
