I see the star as a peaceful moment of rest from the fool's journey. A time when you are in touch with your subconscious and things are flowing freely. There is no need to do anything, in a star moment you are content just to be.
This flow relaxes the body and mind to help you passively transition into the dream world. This is a gentle slow paced flow which I invite you to perform on your bed. This way once you come into corpse pose you can seamlessly flow from your practice to sleep.
I know it can be hard to flow through a class while reading a paper. Recording yourself reading this class and then playing it back why you do the flow may help.
sit on your knees
bring your big toes to touch
widen your knees
walk your arms forward while sending your hips down and back towards your heels
rest your forehead on the floor or block
child's pose
hold for 10 breaths
come forward onto your stomach legs straight out in front of you
bring your left arm straight out of your shoulder it should be parallel to the front of your bed
palm facing down, resting on the bed
keep your arm where it is and roll onto your left side
bring your right foot to rest sole down behind your left leg
use your right hand wherever you like on the bed in front of your body for balance
I don't know what this pose is called : arm straight out roll onto side
hold for 10 breaths
roll back onto your stomach and we are going to repeat on the other side
bring your right arm straight out of your shoulder it should be parallel to the front of your bed
palm facing down, resting on the bed
keep your arm where it is and roll onto your right side
bring your left foot to rest sole down behind your right leg
use your left hand wherever you like on the bed in front of your body for balance
hold for 10 breaths
roll onto back
bring knees into chest
bring both arms straight out from the shoulders, resting on the bed
drop your knees to the right while looking left
this is a good place to use a block under your knees
